Printed agreement, in German, signed by ten members of the company, including Pastorius, which sets forth the terms of the reorganization. Includes regulations concerning distribution of profits, improvement of property, transfer of shares, officers, and recordkeeping. Accompanied by an English translation in Pastorius's hand.

In 1683 a group of German Quakers, mainly from Frankfurt am Main, purchased a tract of 15,000 acres in Pennsylvania, on which their agent Francis Daniel Pastorius laid out the settlement of Germantown. Francis Daniel Pastorius (1651-1719) was a German settler of Colonial Pennsylvania. As the agent for the Frankfort Land Company, he came to Philadelphia in 1683 to purchase land tracts for German settlers. This land was later known as Germantown. In 1708, John Henry Sprogel attempted to dispossess many of the German settlers. Pastorious settled the legal dispute in favor of the settlers.
